Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) to sell or not to sell

Nearness of You (D.A.)

2004 was one of the most memorable years in my life and I will forever treasurer it.  I felt so young and invigorated.  Even with my age, somebody found me appealing and sexy.

During that period, I found a love that was everlasting.  I found the woman who cared for me and made me feel so special.  However, it was short-lived.  Much as I wanted to just leave politics and enjoy the life I wanted, I have to put up a face.  I would have wanted to spend the remaining years of my life with the woman I found so endearing but I have to face reality that I am a married man and I have to reputation to protect.  And of course, I have to protect the woman I love.

Even though it pains too much to see my love one leave and live in New York.  But it was better that way.  I cannot sustain the lifestyle of my wife if I will not continue with politics especially that at that time, real estate was very rosy then.

It was an opportunity for me and my family to amass the wealth craved for.  I do not want to be like my father who died poor.  Who sold all his riches and left us nothing.

Anyway, if I will have all he riches, I am sure that my ladylove will comeback.

Sure enough, she is back in Cebu.  Once I will be back as Mayor of Cebu City, she will be back in my arms again.  I cannot wait for that moment and spend my days, weeks, months and years with her.

I will always treasure our escapades in Batangas.  Good thing Rene Sanapo did not spill the beans.

South Reclamation Project Cebu City

S.R.P. or the South Reclamation Project is my brainchild.  I wanted to parallel what my father, Serging had accomplished and I will do better than him.

Mind you, my father started the North Reclamation Project, with nothing but he ended up rich after the completion of the project.

The concept was that my father created the City Development Corporation, which entered into a contract with the Cebu City Government.  My father was a genius.  He was the President of the City Development Corporation and at the same time, the Mayor of the City of Cebu.  The CDC was in charge of marketing and the city spent for the reclamation project.  In effect, the city government spent millions while CDC earned millions.

In like manner, the Cebu City Government spent for the South Reclamation Project.  The Government incurred Php 6 Billion in debts and is paying at an average amount of Php 900 Million annually for the payment of the LOANS.

Like my father, I am in charge of the Marketing.  I'm also a genius.  I created the Cebu Investments Promotion Center to act as conduit for our marketing program.  The city allocated Php 3 million for its operation and another Php 4 Million for the Marketing.  Since I am the Marketing in-charge, I get to use the funds in travelling abroad together with my wife, Margot and son, Miguel with his girlfriend, Bea Villegas.

I was fortunate enough that at the time of my hospitalization in the United States and my succeeding medical check-ups, there were still Marketing funds, which were made handy and available when needed.

With the realization of the South Reclamation Project, I got to hone my Marketing skills.  I am the greatest SALESMAN.  I can make people believe of its viability although there were so many underlying problems.

Just like Bigfoot.  I was able to entice Michael Gleissner to invest his money in the S.R.P.  He leased a portion of the S.R.P. just to show that there would be developments at S.R.P.  However, Michael did not know that the area he leased was so...so... stinky.  I hated Junpe.  He made millions out of the Landfill transaction but still he failed to solve the stinky smell.

During my incumbency as Mayor of the City of Cebu, I loved to showcase the S.R.P. and held parties there.  Unfortunately, people got turned off because of the stinky Landfill.  Again, I hated Junpe and his cohort, Monares.
